Welcome to

All Saints Belhus Park

Church of England / Anglican

All Saints Church serves the Parish of Belhus Park, which coves the area of South Ockendon west of the Railway line.

All Saints Church was built in 1953 as a Church of England place of worship for the families coming to live on the newly built Belhus Park housing estate which surrounds it and was initially a daughter church to St Michael’s Parish Church Aveley, in which parish the new housing was built.

The church was beautifully designed as a multi purpose building, serving both as place of worship and community hall. As the population of the estate grew, Belhus Park became a separate Parish, and in time a church hall was added to the complex, allowing the original building to be used just as a place of worship. The 1950 architecture and the design purpose give the building an open, light and modern feel which regular worshipers and visitors alike enjoy.

All Saints Church continues to be the home of a friendly worshipping community, and both building and congregation are at the heart of the life of the parish they serve.

The parish of All Saints Belhus Park is united with the parish of St Nicholas South Ockendon which serves that part of modern South Ockendon east of the railway line. The two churches are ministered to by one clergy team, The Rector and the Associate Priest, and work together to be God’s people in South Ockendon.

All Saints Church would like to invite you to be part of our worship on Sunday and Thursday mornings, and welcome enquiries regarding baptisms and weddings. For information please contact The Rector, Revd. Brian Duckworth or The Associate Priest, Fr. Peter Rabin.
